One day I was watching David Blaine Fearless and got all inspired, so as the show was wrapping up I pulled out some cards and started playing around with them. Meanwhile the DVD menu was on and after a while he started talking from the menu and did a self-working trick through the TV. I've tried to get it to play again (I've forgotten one of the steps) but it won't work. Was I hallucinating? Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
The basic trick was; make two equal piles of less than 10 cards. Remember a card from one pile and add that pile back to the top of the pack. Deal some cards (a specific number), return them to the top of the pack. Return the second pile to the top of the pack Spell "this is my card."
So sorry I soiled your precious eyes.

Here's a link to a DVD easter egg site that will explain how to get back to it, and another hidden item.
http://www.hiddendvdeastereggs.com/films/33507.html "From the main menu, go to the ARCHIVES sub menu. Now there's a new menu, and a looping video of David Blaine with his eyes closed. Leave this screen running, and let the video feed loop about three times. On the sucessive loop, you'll notice the menu options have faded down, and they gradually fade out completely. Then Blaine opens his eyes, and the camera pans on him. Here he tells the viewer to hurry and get a deck of cards, and then waits. He then proceeds to do a great card trick with you over the TV!" |
