I have just created something I think is quite new with rope. It has just been written up and will be part of my second book, titled "Give a Magician Enough Rope" which will go to the printer this week.

New? Rope? How about a hint?

10 foot rope cut in two by spectator. No loops, really cuts it into two pieces. Then each half piece is cut in half. Both tied together. You Hang one rope around his neck, other around yours with knots under chins, like bow ties. Gag possibilities aplenty.

Now, you step behind him and grip rope, lift it up and ask him to blow on the knot. The knot VANISHES... Then suddenly you take your rope and as you slide its knot off it is seen that the entire ten foot length is restored to all one piece.

Sheesh, I gave away too much. Watch for full details in my next book, "Give a Magician Enough Rope."

You left something out? As you slide the knot off the second rope, you must be holding the other rope as well while you slide the knot off of yours.
I guess a film or video is in order.

Don Wayne popped into Dean's yesterday and I went over the routine with him (didn't have a long enough piece of rope to do all of it, DARN)... Anyway he had never heard or seen my main concept. Darn book company is running slow... hang in there sports fans.
