When I was younger I made my own. Takes some work, but worth it to have your own prop that matches your style.

Michael,

Your talent goes well beyond being a very good magician. This is collector quality apparatus. It ranks up there with Norm Nielson, Owens, and P&L. Kudos to you, my friend (I just wished I had the talent to do that kind of workmanship).

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Billappleton,

I have never really used this in performance, only played with it in conjunction with a Victorian act that I simply have not had time to flesh out.

It CAN be used a couple of different ways. The simplest and most common is to produce a single ball over and over, supposedly adding each "newly" produced ball to the display as you go. Finally, the recycled ball is produced a final time and placed into the center hole, which is designed to receive it. In essence, you produce 7 balls, but only have the property management of one.

With the balls on display, you may also remove them one at a time, either for single use, or collectively as a group. Once you do so, you may of course vanish the ball(s), change their color, change them to something else, or for other effects limited by your imagination.
