Do an illusion with it... On a raised platform (so that they see nothing is underneath) have three buckets and a bowling ball. Perform it like cups and balls and produce a kicker finale, say by producing a female assistant...

Ok gang, you have stumbled across an idea that I have been working on.

I am 6'7" tall and I thought it would be cool if I could do the cups and balls with buckets and a bowling ball.

I figured out a way of performing this effect. But I have not yet built it.
I did pass the idea along to Kevin James since he is always looking for new ideas.
Don't know if he is going to use it but my idea is workable.

I once saw a guy performing the cups and balls with soccer balls and three garbage cans and it worked like a charm.

I've been doing this in my kids show for a long time. I have painted 3 garbage cans (in plastic): one yellow, one red and one blue (the same colors as the plastic ones). I also use NERF balls (yellow).

I start by doing the small plastic ones (that you can buy for $5.00 in magic shops) but nobody can see and I go too fast. After this, I explain to the crowd that I will do it again but this time they will be able to follow. At that moment my assistant brings the BIG ones...

I developed an idea (which works) to make my assistant appear under a garbage can at the end of the routine with the last ball in her hands. I also have a way to do a chop cup. I think David Acer did a routine similar in a convention (big cups and balls without the chop cup and the final load).
