On a recent trip to California & Nevada I searched for Velvet Tubing , actually for Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts. In Anaheim I entered two addresses into my (not updated for 2 years)GPS. Both stores empty and they had moved. In Las Vegas I GPS'd 3 more , all gone , moved. When I returned to the wilds of Canada I looked on the 'net. I found http://www.BOCAGENEWYORK.COM , and received an immediate reply from Stephanie , she carries a magenta velvet tubing at $3.00 a yard and popped it in the mail. 12 yards + postage around $40.00 (I can work with magenta) Great service! great price! If you need some and can't locate it , Stephanie is just the person to email or call , 1-888-626-2243

FYI:- my velvet rope arrived today. I am pleased with it. Just what I had hoped it would be.
Actully BOCAGE's head office is in New York. This was sent from Bocage 400 E Gutierrez Street Santa Barbara , CA. Again I was pleasantly surprised at the on-line service Stephanie there provided me on my little order from 1500 miles away. If you're in that area give her a call. Or I'm sure there are other locations of this store. And they had in stock. I want it for ring + rope , also a nice little routine I have a video clip from abot 17 years ago of Karrel Fox doing a routine with it. he had a spectator , he used about a 3' piece , folded it up into his hands , then asked how long it was , he had switched/exchanged it and it was now 6" long! then took another piece and performed the Professors Nightmare. Very nice presentation! |
