I haven't played with LEDs much, but I definitely want to add them to my son's batmobile for Halloween. I take it a trip to Radio Shack will be all I need, and I am sure it's simple - what am I looking for without buying over priced all in one units on a button or some other retail product?

Wal-Mart sells them in the wedding section. There about 25 cents each (Ouch) also you can by those tiny neon sticks from Ed Chee on his website about 2 inches long a lot cheaper.

Thanks very much - the per price is a beast for giveaways, but for some special stuff, just right.

Where getting them for 25¢ each????
My walmart they are $10 for dozen. I use them a lot in my nightclub work... one will light up a birthday cake hat. As far as cost to tip ration ... nightclubs are a different animal. They ask I tell'em $10 for a hat, same price as a drink, if they wine I'll give it to them without the light for $5.
