For some strange reason Oriental Trading Co. won't accept international orders online. What's the best way to get an order to them? After several requests for a catalogue, I'm still waiting!

I am in New Zealand & have ordered from them before. You don't need to get a catalogue posted because you can see all their products on the web site.
The only problem I had was they sent a complementary soup bowl. It was a nice thought but the weight & size added a lot to the air post cost. When I buy stuff from places like that I usually find the postage will cost as much as the product.

Everything Oriental Trading sells is imported anyway. I can not believe there are no sources for carnivals, fairs, and amusement parks in the UK that will sell similar items. What specifically are you looking for, maybe someone out there would have specific sources for specific items.

They stock a box of small magic tricks for about $20. I wanted to try them for prizes during my shows. I know there has already been a discussion on where to obtain items for prizes, but I don't recall anything being mention about a UK supplier.

if you are ordering in bulk (like 1/2 a case or more) then you should investigate the Rhode Island Novelty company. They are consistently cheaper than OT. And their service is great. I have order cases on Monday...and they arrived on Wed!!

If you're looking for uk suppliers, try ...
http://www.topsecretmagic.co.uk http://www.magictricks.co.uk I've used them both, and the postage is reasonable! James. |

I just got a postcard today stating that Oriental Trading Company is being taken to court on a class action suit. I wonder how this may affect people who use them as a regular source?
