Hi all, I've been lurking for a while and posting now for about week. Been reluctant to post this question because it gives away that I'm not really magic performer like many of you. I do show family and friends tricks and I do love magic. So apologies out of the way....

I've done the whole Tenyo thing but after getting a couple of good quality vintage items (Shock Die is my current favorite) I've got the bug to pick up more.

What nice (doesn't have to be vintage) self-contained props do you think are worth getting? I'm mostly interested in close-up and pocket magic but any recommendations are welcome.

I'm already familiar with a lot of the standard magic shop items so dig as deep as you can. Also would love to hear of sellers you trust to give you advice in this area. Items with sleights and switches aren't my favorite but I'm open minded.
