I am putting together a Fred Kaps tribute, and I was wondering what is the best kind of vanishing can, a Fantasio or a STAINLESS STEEL - POWDER COATED black cane ?

I would suggest a good metal cane.

I was thinking about getting this one from Daytona Magic since I have some credit from them.

Should be OK but do remember to wax the cane with paste wax once in a while to protect it. This is how I looked after the Mahka Tendo canes.

If you're going to vanish the cane in a rolled-up newspaper you'll most definitely need a metal cane. The plastic canes don't have enough "oomph" and sometimes get stuck.
