Hi;
Can anyone here tell me more about this product and how good it is? Thanks Sean |

Hi
I saw Mr. Calvert perform it at a convention some years ago. It is a pretty standard dancing handkerchief but a nice one since you only need one assistant to perform it.

He was at our local IBM ring and performed this a couple of monts ago. At 92, he is still performing and doing it well.

Sean,
Calvert's Casper is one of the most practical versions of the classic dancing hanky routine. If you are asking because you want to add this routine to your show, then the Calvert version is the way to go. It only requires one assistant and a backdrop. Good luck.

When doing illusions to only have to use one assistant and a backdrop seems like the practical thing to me if working a stage.

That's right. The Ultimate dancing Hank is great. I agree on that however the Calvert version is such a crowd pleaser.

Joao,
Yes, the Ultimate Dancing Hank is also practical and also requires a backdrop for some moves. However, the poster wanted information specifically regarding the Calvert Dancing Hank routine Casper. And yes, one assistant is practical, considering the classic Adams version of the dancing hanky requires at least two offstage assistants, a much larger backdrop and a lengthy set up.

What is the most magical version you guys have ever seen? I know Casper looks great but I am seeing a lot of praise because only one assistant is needed. Is there a dancing hank with more movements, not like the versions that float over the audience, but something that communicates on stage and can make a full routine in the show? Is Casper best for this?
Also, what books contain dancing hanks, even if they are not available anymore. Please name them as I have a great friend with a great library who could help me out. Thanks |
