3" Brass Goblet
I just bought this goblet to see how it compared to my current one. As was stated earlier the dimensions are: Height = 3" base Diameter = 1 1/2" Top opening = 1 3/4" This is bigger than the chalice I had. I prefer this new one. The new one can fit silver dollar coins with no problem, my other one could not. The reason why I like this one better is that the hardest part of my routine is making sure you drop the coins into the cup. If you miss the cup, you obviously screw up the trick because people will see an immediate coin change as they bounce off the side of the cup ![]() The bigger opening makes this cup easier to hit. |

I just uploaded the performance of the The Coin Change Chalice from the New York Coin Magic Seminar DVD Vol. 13, as well as The Imperceptible Purse from Vol. 7. Thanks Mike Rubinstein for letting me post them.

Ed, you were at Seminar eight this past October, and the trick I did with the Chalice was Voodoo Revelation. Can't give you more information yet about seminar 9, but I assure you it won't be on October 15. Hope you are enjoying volumes 14,15, and 16!

Why don't people do magic with interesting plots anymore?
Interesting effect, but no story. Only mean to provoke for for thought. This is why I'm not a fan of most coin magic. "It will change to the color of the last coin in there?" oiy Or perhaps this material just appeals to magicians and coin collectors and not normal people who don't see coins like walking liberties or silver dollars every single day of their lives |

Clamon86, which video did you watch? My old one from my website or the one on the NYC Magic DVD? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbro3x29uLY
The one linked above has more of a presentation. Though if you like interesting plots, David Roth really excels with them. Look at any of his classic showpieces or even the Asian Act that was put on the last batch of NYC Magic DVDs. One of my favorites is "The Tuning Fork". I peformed it for David at the last seminar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uun4iRBG7U Dan |

I thought Jimmy Buffaloe had some interesting plots in his book. One involved a silk with a safe printed on it.
