Aloha, hefemexy! First off, let me just say that I applaud your creative spirit. You have a personable charm about you when you perform. It also doesn't hurt to utilize tiny ninja's in your act as well! Having said that...I'd like to comment on your performance of Lou Serrano's "Steel Ball Routine"...well, a portion of it anyway. I realize that you have mixed it up a bit and added your own spin to it.
I was wondering why you decided to change the routine in the first place? I feel that the original structure and elements of the routine are pretty darn near perfect. And after viewing your take on the routine, I kind of feel like you've taken something magical and have turned it on it's head. Your patter and overall...well...re-structure of the routine left me feeling very uneasy. I don't want to sound like I'm bashing your take on the routine...I just wanted to voice my opinion regarding the changed elements of the original. Keep working on it...I'm sure you'll come up with something great!

Yeah, I second Kekoa's post above. Work out the kinks and you never know, you might be the next eric jones.

Thanks Kekoa. I wanted to changed the rountine so that I would be comfortable with it... Lou's orignal working of the routine is great. It's just that it's Lou's routine..lol, I decided to change and add my spin just so that I'll feel comfortable in performing it in my manner. Unlike most of routines I see other ppl perform that are a carbon copy of the creator, I will continue to work on it and get it better

Great job on making it YOUR OWN. You fooled me on a couple of the loads.
Sure there was a flash when you brought out the cups and I'm sure you will work out the minor details. I'm a fan of natural movements and always pay close attention when watching sleight of hand performances. I thought, just my opinion, that your demonstration of vanishes were meant to confuse. Dai Vernon said, "Magic is not confusion"....That being said I enjoyed your take on the Steel Balls. I only wish I could be that creative. Who were the two little body guards??

Thanks David Paul I appreciate that, the girls were my daughters I wanted to get them involved so just came up with that idea. They had lots of fun and the attention afterwards was great for them. They went to school and told all of there friends and now they have kids asking them to show them magic...lol now I'm in trouble before it was just show us a trick, now it's teach us something.

Very nice choice of routine to use, Lou Serrano's Steel ball routine is a gem. I have to agree with Davidpaul$. The vanishes looked like they are intended to confuse the spectators, the motions were a bit big and so it's hard to watch the steel balls.
