I believe the plans you are looking for are in these books. You will have to contact Owen's Magic to check for sure.

Do anyone know where I can get information on how to build/make a foulard to vanish other items. Specifically to make a foulard to vanish a rectangular box.
thanks! |

I too am looking for the vanishing radio plans. The Owen's books.... are these extremely expensive? I found the book on amazon for 450 dollars. I am interested in just this one trick. Are there any other plans or anyone that just sells the trick already made? Thank you.

Thanks BCS!
I sure am glad you named a book I have. I picked up a copy the other day at a used bookstore, because I knew what a good resource it is. I had not read that section yet, so thanks for pointing it out! |

Don, vanishing radios vary in style. The Owen version as you can see in the picture looks very old and outdated for a modern looking act.
The boom box type similar to the version sold by Wladimir is much more modern looking. What is the style you are after? There are not a many plans available but there are some illusion concepts you can adapt to create a vanishing radio. Also there are used items on the market available, I have one for sale that is an older table top model that needs a little freshing up but works just fine.

61 has cleared the picture, true owen is a top rank, money, well as the saying goes you get what you pay for. However, the more updated model would be better. James is right ,any chance of any pics out there.

Check out the Paul Osborne Illusion System books, plans for a Vanishing Radio are in book 1 or 2. You can research the which one.
There use to be an Italian company that sold a vanishing boom box. I don't know if they are still in business or not. I grabed this from wladimir site. Click here to view attached image. |

It get me when I see post about 'old' styles and not seen anymore comments. I just bought a vintage looking stero player. Here is a look at what is modern currently. This would be a good design for a Vanishing Radio.

Call it Vintage or Call it Retro, they are in the homes of many people. Actually, I do not see that many Boom Boxes around the stores. Here is the one I purchased to convert easily my record collection and tape collection to CD.

For a moment I thought they are real antique vanishing radios. But they look nice.

The books that Owen offers are still available form Owen Magic here: http://owenmagic.com/Books___Blueprints/......nts.html you have to send a self addressed stamped envelope with your address on it to receive a price list. They were not that expensive the last price list I got from then, but they do increase prices regularly. They do not wholesale so the ones on Amazon were used. |
