Hi All,
I want teach you a little trick for free. My friend is in serious condition for the new swine influenza A H1N1 and this could be the universal solution for any kind of influenza of this type. Description: The magician counts from 1 to 10 and virus H1N1 disappears for ever in 10 days!!! Explanation: The virus is contagious since the incubation time (5 days berfore the influenza starts) until 3 days after healing. If the illness lasts 2 days, overall we can consider 10 days for people that got the illness and 5 days for healthy ones. Therefore the solution is: All people must remain at home, at the same time, for at least 5 days and the virus will disappear by itself. Thank you. M.P |

Sadly, most people who are carriers do not realize that they're sick until after they've exposed everyone near them.

My idea was to stop every single activity in the world or region for 5 days. In these days the virus disappears. Everyone have to remain at home in the same time the and virus will disappear. The idea is very simple and very strong,, but very hard to realize it.

And doesn't work.
Your math alone (not even questioning the accuracy) proves your 5 day program wrong. Furthermore, you don't account for families which pass flu from one member to the next. |

It works. I say min 5 days, but if a family member takes the flu, max 10 days and the virus disappears. This is the only method without any pharmcological solution.

So, are you even interested in hearing how devastating the global economy for an ineffective solution to a non-problem is a bad idea, or should we all just pat you on the head and say "That's nice, sweetie."?

The damage done by 5 days of non productivity in the world we have created for ourselves far outweighs the benefits of stopping H1N1. Besides, some of us own shares in Pharmceutical companies.

Entermagic. Your idea will not work. Period. There is no way it could even half way work. Think about what you are saying. You may see your error. But I doubt it as you don't seem to want to listen.

I've been very lucky thus far, I work in EMS and I've yet to contract H1N1. I have had plenty of patients that have been confirmed with it though. I am afraid entermagic that this idea wouldn't really work my friend. Back to the drawing board fella.

Why do you say that this method doesn't work? HP, Vodafone and other big names suggest its member my same solution for this particular flu...
My solution cannot works in real world because there too much money. Anyway this solution kill every virus present now in the world and it is not a solution only for H1N1. M.P. P.S. Excuse me if this thread is not properly for this forum... |

Yeah, not going to argue about viruses.
I will argue about phramaceuticals being "the enemy" though. Supergerms are only around because people don't finish all of their antibiotics. If they finish their antibiotics, all the germs are dead. If they take half of their course, only the antibiotic resistant germs survive. Idiots who don't take their medicine, not drug companies, are what created supergerms. If you catch a supergerm, it's because some irresponsible moron didn't follow the directions their pharmacist gave them. Oh heck, I think I will argue about viruses after all. You say ALL viruses? So we can cure AIDS and herpes just by staying home and playing guitar for a week? I mean to confront my doctor for not telling me this before. Finally I can stop using a clean needle. (In case anyone can't tell that's a joke I'll spell it out: I DON'T USE DRUGS.)

Could someone please name for me the last virus we were able to cure? It has slipped my mind.
So let me get this straight. Your "proposal" is for the world to stop existing for 5 days and it will cure all viruses? Is that what you really think? Just one of the many problems with the solution is 5 days starting WHEN? Ahh never mind. I hate to raise this to the level of a serious proposal by actually responding to it. My guess is this is an internet troll looking to argue. It must be. Nobody could be this vacant.

HPV B (the hepetitis B virus) can survive on a dry surface for weeks. And now cats and ferrets are contracting H1N1, so there's an additional vector.
Magicman0323- are you getting a vaccination? I'd think that healthcare workers, including EMS, are priority patients for the vaccine- especially because they can spread it to patients before they even realize they're infected.

Too much discussion for my simple but very strong idea...
Each virus needs a host to survive. Now if the host creates the a great defense then the virus will die. The only way to survive is to jump in another body and so on. If you stop this process for a long time you stop the virus "every single virus". Sometime the host body dies (see the victims of H1N1, or AIDS, etc., etc.). With H1N1 are necessaries 5 days only. 5 days to discovery 2 things: 1. You have the swine flu, then you have to remain at home. 2. You don't have the virus. The problems for my idea is the synchronism (could be solved via media: TV, news paper and so on... to decide a the start day) and other big problems. (There is a big business with Pharmacological products). Anyway my solution is theoretical, but the unique solution for a serious pandemic virus where there is not a pharmacological solution. Please before to write something try to think if this solution is effective, I am not here to argue or fighting if your intention is this I am sorry then I truncate here my post. Thank you. M.P |

In reality, these animal based infections are the product of creating an agriculturally based society in which plants and animals are domesticated.
So, the best way to stop H1N1 and it's ilk is to build a time machine and warn the cave men. What? It's just as realistic as the last idea. Quote:
