Having seen a few posts from folks who are doing cupcake productions in their birthday shows, I have a few questions :
Do you find out ahead of time if the Bday child has a favorite flavor of cupcake (white cake vs chocolate for example), or do you just give them whatever you have on hand at home ? Do you bake them yourselves, or buy them from the local grocer or bakery ? Do you ever ask the parent who hires you if the child is allergic to any ingredients that might be in the cupcake ? Thanks in advance ! Mark

I refrain from providing food, with all the food alleries, medical conditions (diabetes) I think it best not to give out food.

I have been performing long enough to have the common sense to know to ask the client if it is acceptable to them. I would never just hand the birthday child food without finding out if they might have certain food allergies.
Now, for the guys who DO include this type of production in their show (I know you are out there, I have seen cupcake productions discussed here), could you offer any advice on the questions I posed above ? Thanks ! :) Mark
