Any thoughts? I read it was Marlo's, but Behr's site doesn't mention him. Best source to learn it?

It's written up in a few classic books. I'm not at home so I can't say which ones.

Agreed, this is one of the best presentations for Six-Card repeat, seek it within the pages of Tarbell.

Where did you read this? It's not Marlo's but Tommy Tucker's (1936). For various versions, browse THIS LIST. There are much more, of course.

Tim Ellis's version of six card repeat is the best one I've seen so far.

Unless you have alrady eliminated this, Bill Abbott's 5 card opener is a super strong opener... many testimonials from Café members already already!

Is this similar to the Routine that Wayne Dobson did in his show? And also I forgot who does this but its a close up version with for cards. where at the end the remaining card IS a four.

Tarbell v6 has the Crandall presentation plus another one as well.

Al Cohen is widely known for his version. It can be found on the "Al Cohen, Magic's Mr. Nice Guy" video (if you can track it down-it was originally on VHS, I don't know if it was ever converted to DVD. Al has a Facebook page, and he would be able to tell you if it's available)

Al Cohn's version in the Video is great for it offers a visual presentation of the very entertaining Senator Crandal's one (with credit). This is the routine which Atucci supplies the reference about in Tarbell. A very very good patter

This thread would serve a more useful purpose, IMHO, if it was suggesting how to climax with the effect, which has always been a problem: Six Card Repeat endings have rarely brought in an additional surprise that would conclude the effect in a spectacular way. This is most probably the reason why the effect sticks around without ever really taking off.

This must have been in the back of Michael Finney's head when he came with the tearing off of the last cards sending glitter up in the air. That was a step forwards but obviously not a big enough one.
