Hello !

I know this has been asked before, but things evolve and I'm really interested in this.
How many effects do you use ? I mean : we learn ABOUT hundreds of tricks, but how many effects do we really USE in a show.
Also : if you do an act, how long is your act ?

It's only fair to answer those questions myself, so here I go :
I can do 6 effects (+ readings as a 7 th "effect") and my act lasts about 45 minutes.

I'm very, very interested in your opinions and I hope I get some answers here...

7 Minor Miracles and Sundry Amazements is what I claim...with a few thrown in that I don't count. 25 minutes max.

A few propless warm-up pieces then Q&A. Its hard to follow Q&A.

At the moment I use about 5 pieces and it totals around about an hour.

One quick opener then three pieces. 40 minutes, longer with an encore piece.

Use to be five but I just added a new piece to my musscle reading routine so now it's six. The length of the show is 45-60 min.

6 routines with some "small" psychological effects interspersed along the way.

Like "think of a color".

Runs about 50 minutes.
