Hey all!
Here's a quick introduction to Liam Montier's stunningly origional new effect "In 3D". Here's the ad copy... "IN3D" is a brand new release by Liam Montier - a professional 'workers' routine that incorporates lots of spectator involvement with built in entertainment. In effect, the performer asks if anyone has seen those special glasses that guys sometimes wear in movies that allow them to read secret marks on cards. Whatever the answer, the performer explains that he has managed to make a set, using common 3D glasses. He puts the glasses on, and explains that he only marked the really good cards in the pack. He quickly removes four cards and reveals them to be the four Aces! Ideal for cheating at cards! Showing them both sides, the Aces are replaced back into the pack, which is shuffled, and the 3D glasses are handed to a spectator, who wears them and is directed to point out the cards 'that look different'. The spectator is amazed that four cards in the pack really do stand out - as they appear to be a totally different colour! However, everyone else is equally amused - as they ALL see the different colour cards as well! On removing them, they are shown to be the four Aces, and the spectator is congratulated for being able to point them out... Then comes the KICKER! The performer states that congratulations are in order, as the Aces are VERY hard to spot without the glasses. The spectator removes the glasses and then turns over the four Aces to reveal that they have reverted BACK TO THE ORIGINAL COLOUR! The magician can then carry on with any other card routines. Included in the package are; 2 pairs of 3D glasses, a packet of special gaffs and full routine, complete with illustrations by Will Houston. This is a shickingly cool trick. Plays so trongly to a large crown or umongst freinds. I was so taken by the trick, I've asked Liam if I can to stock the effect. It's just a brilliant trick and in the current age of 3D EVERYTHING! This trick will slot into most acts. (Its great for comedy to!) Here's the link if you want to buy them directly for Mr Montier: http://www.the-magic-mirror.webs.com/ I will also have it up on the site shorlty at http://www.JamieDaws.co.uk Best, Jamie Daws

It sounds like a fun routine.
I am getting so tired of slitting the throats of people who say that I am a violent psychopath.

Hi folks,
Thanks for the interest, these are selling well. Just a quick note - IN3D is most effective for a GROUP of people. You will need at least 2 for the slight 'sucker' aspect of the effect to be appreciated. This routine has been a great worker for me, and is particularly good after a 'snappy' opening trick, as it is a bit longer, gives people the chance to get to know you, and also introduces a 'cheeky' or mishievious element to your character. I'm away until early December, but my website will still be active as a friend of mine is babysitting. Or of course, Jamie has them for sale as well, with a free PDF while stocks last. All the best, Liam Montier. |

Hey all
I recieved this effect from Jamie Daws' website. In-3D is Liams version of the classic routine where a spectator apparently sees the deck differently to everybody else when looking through a pair of comedy glasses, when in reality they see what everyone else sees. However he has made an improvement on the original effect, by using the supplied gaff cards. Also by using the 3D glasses this gives the trick a little twist of it's own. In-3D comes complete with a full routine with illustrations from Will Houston, 2 pairs of 3D glasses, and a pack of gaff cards, (bicycle brand). The routine although quite simple is extremely hard hitting to laymen and can add a touch of comedy, depending on how you use it. Best used in groups of at least two people, so that you do get the 'sucker' appeal. This routine can also be used on stage for bigger audiences. This trick is highly reccommended and is only £10! For a while Houdini used alot of trap doors in his act, but he was just going through a stage!
