Hi all,
I tried a search but didn't find what I want.

Is it just me, or is the noise a mechanical silk to ball make REALLY loud?
Does anyone have an idea on how to reduce the noise made when using a wind up mechanical silk to ball? or am I missing something here?
Obviously this can't be done in a closeup/parlor setting, but I'm afraid that its loud enough to be heard even when on stage!

Thanks in advance

Yin Howe, those balls are really loud and you can do nothing about it. The only way is to use music to cover that noise.

That is why I developed my own ways in which to do it. I also do ball to silk so it can be reversed. Many times a situation or problem to be solved, can really be a catalyst for creative thinking. Many times just trying to solve a problem allows the mind to develop better ways in which to achieve it.

There is never any ONE solution. There are many paths and avenues in which the manipulator can travel down. each road traveled leads to new discoveries. Not all will work, but through failure often times sparks success and creative ideas and concepts.

Something to think about.

I have been playing with this for a while , if you keep the ball heid tith in your hand the less is the noise , the loudest is when you throw it in the air and the change hapens in mid air . anyway this was ment as a stage effect done to music there is no other way .. I assume you have the viking model.

This can be done by using a stilwell ball.
