OK, now that I have your attention.........
I saw a Belgium dude on Dutch Television last night. He is totally blind but is able to ascertain shapes and even colours (without seeing it of course) How does he do this? He makes a double clicking sound, which sound in turn echos back to him. From that he can ascertain: How far he is away from the object, the shape of the object, height, sometimes colour. etc etc. Absolutely amazing abd surely holds interesting mindreading possibilities. Apparently theres also an American who is good at this technique ( also somewhere on You tube), and everyone is able to learn this technique. |

This was also covered in Derren Brown's "The Events" - How to Be A Psychic Spy". A man named Daniel Kitsch demonstrates this remarkable ability

They are beginning to train blind people in this technique, which is like the echo-location used by bats. They can't detect colours, but shapes and distances can be estimated.
It involves making clicking sounds and listening to the echo. Any technique can be plundered for our use, but this seems to be more of a breakthrough for blind people than for mind readers.

I disagree, the technique described above is correct, but to me is close to a psychic phenomenon. Imagine:
You are totally blindfolded. You can ascertain whether on the table in front of you lies a ball, ( circle) square, triangle etc. The guy said he also 'gets' colours, but not all the time. As I said, amazing. |
