Looking to possibly sell these cups, but I can't find a price on these anywhere.
Any ideas on going price? Thanks, RevJohn |

I think they're going for about $15-$20. I'll give you $25.

Don't let Frank sucker you into selling them for less than they're worth.

John, are they the RNT2 ones? By gun metal, do you mean blue gun steel?

Yes, that is what I mean... blue gun steel... RNT2.

$35, but you have to cover shipping to the UK!

Just a stab... but at today's cup prices, I would say 200 - 250ish would be fair.
If you want to move them quicker, I would price lower. I had a set of monties that I picked up for 200... so it's comparable. Shawn

RevJohn,
In watching the various cups on the used market these days, in these troubled economic times, there seems to be either a glut of cup sets for sale or a very small market of people willing (or able?) to buy a set of cups merely to have them or to have them for their collectibility. Market prices seem to be very volatile and soft. As a result, prices seem to have dropped dramatically and, for the most part, seem to be holding at these lower prices. Even the "higher end" finished cups (chromed, antique bronze, etc.) seem to be dropping somewhat in price and not selling at the initial higher prices asked and hoped for. I concur with ShawnB. ("Just a stab... but at today's cup prices, I would say 200 - 250ish would be fair.") Although I might think that, on any given day, the price for a set of Sisti cups might be slightly lower. Perhaps, the best thing to do is to list the cups at a price you could live with and see how it goes. If you don't sell them at that price, either reduce the price or hold firm and remove the set from sale. Mike

Thanks. I probably will keep these, but all this information helps!

It might be worth waiting, John; I agree with Mike. I recently sold my set of Nickle plated 2.5's. They were brand new and unused, and I barely scraped the price for a new set of 2.5's mirror finished, let alone the plating (and I paid good money to have the job done correctly because I planned on keeping them at the time).
