Hi,
I am new to the forums. I hope I am posting this in the proper location. Please accept my apologies if I am in the wrong area. I have been looking all over the internet for a place where I can purchase rough back playing cards, but I can't find them. Does anyone know where I can purchase a rough back deck? Thanks, Greg |

Are you referring to IDeck? If so most magic dealers have them. Try http://www.MJMmagic.com

No it's not the IDeck I am looking for. It's just a deck that has rough backs I believe for use in the "invisible deck" trick featured in these links I found.

You can make your own using Testors Dull Cote spray.
Maybe this will help: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=203

You are looking for the invisible without knowing it. Just buy one for 10 bucks, ready to go.

Depending on the quantity, get roughed cards from Haines House of Cards. They are the original source of all gimmicked cards.
Just did a search for Haines, looks like their site is no longer available. To bad another victim of import copies. You can make your own, they sell roughing fluid spray as well as liquid in a bottle, I do not recommend the bottle as it has a yellow tint to it, if you get to much on the card it will show and discolor the card. |

I believe I have an OLD bottle, but shipping anywhere might be iffy. I prefer the spray.

Magic City wholesales both liquid and spray roughing fluid. They are a wholesale only company, so you have to find a magic dealer that will order from them. The do require a dealer to place a minumim order.
Here is the liquid bottle: http://www.magicity.com/product_info.php?products_id=5220 Dealer here: http://www.mjmmagic.com/store/quick-fix-......524.html Here is the spray: http://www.magicity.com/product_info.php?products_id=2843 Dealer here: http://www.magic.org/store/product_info.php?products_id=2750 |

Just a note on the roughing fluid. Haine's mixes their own formula with ingredients that are VERY expensive and it is infinitely better than clear coat or any of the other home made varieties. They will usually spray anything you want for a fraction of what it probably cost them. |

Testor's Dull Cote spray (used for plastic models) is the stuff.
