Nice day,
I finally get a flipper coin using my country's coin, and I would like to know some uses of it. I found that most of the Café members recommend Troy's Total Destruction, I have ordered it. Is there any other good source I can find to use my flipper coin? thanks, Hirase

"Free Fall-"You can observe it on JBTV magic.
You can create or use many published coins across or 3 Fly routines as well. The flipper coin is only limited to the imagination of the user. Michaels

Troy also has a book DesTROYers, the contents are similar to the DVDs except that the Charming Chinese Challange can be found in the book.
Besides this book, he also published Silver Surf I and II. "Any Questions", a video by Garret Thomas features some usage of the flipper.

Hirase (san?)
The folding coin offers possibilites when one uses it to do what no coin could. Applications include putting a coin into and envelope and making it vanish, making use of the fold to substitute for a shell gaff, putting a coin into a bottle... the list is long. The question is not what others have done, it's what you decide to do. I used to put it into a TT to effect a very startling vanish. That was my contribution to the list of uses.
...to all the coins I've dropped here

Garret Thomas has some useful ideas on Flipper work on his "Any Questions" tape. I do not find opening the gaff to be an issue, but I use a dollar. Users of smaller coins that slam shut would be vry interested in what Garret suggests.
Search the other threads here at the Café. Somewhere in the recent past the entire history of the coin was revealed, and other uses suggested.
