For the cups and balls, I am a Monti cup man, myself. They just feel right to me, but I have always wanted tennis ball final loads.
If you have a set, you will know that a tennis ball will fit, but it will stick and cause some trouble. The fact that it fit so snugly drove me crazy! So close to my goal! Then, an epiphany! What if I were to stab the ball with a knife? Eleven bloody fingers later, I had a set of tennis balls that would work perfect with the cups. All that was stopping it was the slight pressure inside the ball. Get rid of that, and you are home free. I figure that this will work for other cups, as well. Give it a shot. It worked for me, and I could not be happier. As always, Dylan |

Did you try the cheap tennis balls from China? They are slightly smaller than regular ones. Also, there are tennis balls that are used for dog toys. They come in many different sizes.

I have tried the dog tennis balls, but I have found that they are often flavored and make hands smell less then desirable.
Where could I find the cheap China kind? I am really fine with what I have now, but it is always nice to keep an open mind. As always, Dylan |

Sometimes we're forced to shop in the nicer stores and can't find the cheap stuff, even if we're willing to pay a premium for it.
Good idea about depressurizing a tennis ball. Thanks.

The place to look for the cheap tennis balls would be CVS pharmacy and other places like that. Not all the dog toys are flavored, by the way.
The ones that are peanut butter flavored have a tendency to stick to the roof of your cups.

If you search the Café, there have already been a few posts and threads relating to this. Bill also recommended bouncing the balls on a concrete surface for some time to take the edge off them...

This is a cool tip. I, myself, use the dog toy tennis balls that I found at Petsmart for my final loads. However, I will have to try this method.
