Hi all
I'm building a new illusion right now and need a realistic looking rubber/latex foot.
I've called all the magic/prop stores here in Germany and no one could help me, so I'm probably going to buy one in the states or make one myself.

Does anyone know where I could buy a realistic looking foot in the US? (no bloody halloween prop please)

I will also need to animate it, it will have to wiggle up and down. Has anyone here ever managed to build something like this themselves?

Thanks in advance Smile

I have a mold for silicone feet... but not one for rubber feet.

John Bundy recenlty remolded my foot to make feet for his sawing in half..

He's a member here... send him a PM

You might check a orthopedic store, they might be able to order from them or guide you in building one yourself.

The foot movement I made for my illusion I got from a battery operated halloween toy. It was 2 creepy hands moving up and down attached to a plastic case. I converted it to remote control. I only see this toy available during Halloween.

The following two magic web sites indicate that they make make arms, legs, feet etc.

Thanx to everyone for the great ideas!

Lou Hilario, I just bought a discounted Halloween prop that could do the trick, but it's not remote controlled, how did you convert your toy?

Erasedover, this is the remote I installed. You will need a 12V DC separate power supply for this.

As you seem to be in Germany, I would recommend asking the next theatre - in Stuttgart there is a Staatstheater. They have the workshops and the skilled craftsmen too. Just ask them - normally people in the theatre business are willing to help.

Well just a little update. After all the great advice here, I decided to make the prop myself. I ordered everything I needed on the internet, including a cheap RC car toy... and the foot came out great! Very realistic! Now I'm working on the movement, and the prop should be finished soon.

Thanx for your help!
