I was in Dollar General, earlier today, and found some great rope. It's not terribly thick, but the quality is nice, as well as the price. A 100' hank is only $1 and this stuff is quite soft. The quality seems to be on par with some of the best rope that you can find. Just ask where the clothesline is.

But, is it $3 a spool? The stuff that I saw today looks nicer.

Danny, You can't beat em' over the head about rope. Even when I sold 1/4" rope at.09 a foot, guys bought their rope from Walmart as if it was the discovery of the decade. The problem is, every one does a different rope effect and any rope
can work. If the magician ever gets a side by side comparison, they might come to our way of thinking. The rope market seems to be price driven, yet with all the Walmarts in the world, you and I still get the pros to get the quality rope we sell and pay more for shipping than they would for rope from hardware stores.
