This is great but it's an old technique......
for me, it's a classic version with "Sankey Style" |

I love 99 from Sankey. Lots of fun with it. Use this in a party with a couple that just got married or have been married for a long time and you have a killer effect.
I have an ending for this trick using another prop that it make it so good. People keep asking me to do this whole effect. If you own 99 send me a pm and I will let you know what to use for the ending. Joaquin |

WoW, OK so it has been a few years since I've been online. Family Deaths (Mom & Aunt), Horrible experience the same year (House Fire July of 2013), just this week getting to finally move back in. Thanks to my insurance and the Marriott Hotel group for allowing me to stay the extra 6 months beyond what my Insurance paid. Performed for guests at the hotel. OK Jay was really a nice person and did visit Cincinnati and then He shared with us many effects. Didn't mean for anyone (magFrk2) to think that (to quote) "Just Appeared From Nowhere", I was endorsing Jay. Yes, He is good, and I joined Magic Café Forum the next day Gaffter our lecture from Mr. Sankey. Our then current President told our Ring about The Magic Café. Thank you Dave (The Baldini) for your kind words of encouragement. Peace to All !!!

36 minute video. No intrusive music, good sound, light, and video quality. No routine demonstration with or without a real audience is given.
Ad claim: "No fishing WHAT SO EVER" "MERELY THINK OF AN OBJECT" from the list. Self working. Video ad shows numerous object predictions. NOT TRUE. Spectator is require to perform several math processes. You can performed this twice ONLY without repeating. If I had known all of the above I would not have bought 99. My belief is Jay Sankey was deliberately misleading to increase sales. It does work. Just not in the manner presented. This is the last time Jay Sankey gets a purchase from me. |

Hmmm. Simple math is "thinking." Two is "several" also, but why would you ever want to do this more than twice for the same audience?
As noted, the repeat is not always necessary or advisable. The second is only a diversion to eliminate the idea of a force. I have a problem with some possible "over-sell" of Sankey's tricks, but never thought this was one of them. If this inexpensive trick turns you from his mass of other work, methinks you are missing out on a lot of creativity. Seems to me you are "overselling" your dislike of this effect.

Funsway, I have purchased other items and have been disappointed.
This last purchase convince me of Jay Sankey marketing tactics. I believe it is very misleading in the copy and video ad. 1. Seven separate objects are shown (implying that list has that many options). This incorrect. That is why I point out that. 2. "just think" "Nothing whatsoever" "self working". This incorrect. If the spectator has to work out a math operation no matter how simple, then it's not self working or "Just think" or "no fishing". In another post no one who owned this product would admit to this fact. I hope anyone considering this item is better informed. The facts I have presented support my position. No "oversell" necessary on my part. |
