After watching a Boston Box routine I found on the Café' I was curious to know what everyone thought were the better Okito/Boston box routines. I know Chad Long has a good one, any others? What about patter to justify the odd little container?

Rannie "The Boss" Raymundo has some great Okito coin box routines. I am sure he has a good Boston box one.

Hi MagicWGH,
Welcome to the Café. David Roth has a DVD with Okito/Slot/Boston Box routines and instruction. I think it's on Roth's Ultimate Coin Magic Volume 2 DVD. He even teaches some patter, history and subtleys. It's a fantastic resource for learning some of the greatest Okito Box routines. Happy Holidays -Rich |

Somewhere on here I started a thread on box work in print. I've ask to have it put up as a sticky but never got a reply. Maybe the search function will work for you, didn't work for me, but who knowns, maybe you'll have better luck. In addition to the ones listed above, Bill Citino has some great work with the boxes as does Chastin Criswell. check em out, you won't be disappointed.
Best, Joe

Doug Brewer's book is killer. In volumes 8,9, and 10 of the New York Coin Magic Seminar DVD's, there are a bunch of coin box stuff, including a great presentation and explanation of Roth's slot box routine complete with ALL the good moves! Gallo's stuff is amazing, you will like it!
S.E.M. (The Sun, the Moon, and the Earth) is a sun and moon routine unlike any other. Limited to 100 sets, here is the promo:

Thank you again to everyone. This was my first posting of a topic and I am grateful that all of you care enough to help out. And I apologize for being redundant with the topic. I'll use the search function first for future questions!

Not to ask off topic but where does one find a "Nokito" box? It could be the Sokito Box for that matter.....I own whatever the solid plug one is. My mind is drawing a blank at the moment.
I can't say, but I'm looking for the box that eliminates full turnovers rather. |

Sokito = solid Okito (so, the plug you have)
Nokito = no bottom Okito (basically, a metal ring). Are you talking about the Beyond Okito Box? This has a unique design that eliminates the need for turnovers (but is completely unexaminable). |

I was always as intrigued with the Okito Moves as the Box itself -- so have developed some coin effects using the principles without the box called "Tweener."
For example, a copper coin placed between two poker chips in the left hand chances places with a silver coin in the right. You never touch the coins -- a spectator places them on the chips. If anyone is interested PM me.
