Potent Presage and Mysterious are two of my favorites from him. I still recall the day I first saw him in action. Superbowl party in 1991... I was hooked on his work from then on!

I own The Expert's Portfolio and Modus Operandi. These books will stay with me for life. Jack Carpenter is a fantastic cardician. His thinking is inspiring and his routines are a pleasure to study and perform. Discovering Jack Carpenter was and is one of the highlites of my life-long study of card conjuring. Thank you Mr. Carpenter.

Can't recommend enough the Seattle Sessions.... buy them if you think yourself a card guy, period.

Yes, Jack Carpenter rules. Very good card magic. Love this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rt9Xf8vDp......ure=plcp
Also his Pocket Interchange routine and O.Henry's Return. Does anyone know something about his new book, written by Stephen Minch?

He is one of the kindest people I have met. I will never forget the kindness he showed me when I was working on the cruise ships. He shared stuff with me which I use till this day. Love his stuff.

Please pardon the bump of my post above. I'm aching to learn the Wonder Steal. It's deliciously confounding.
To add, I saw Jack Carpenters lecture in 2019 and he was over the top fantastic. What an amazing thinker, mechanic, and teacher. The Himalayan Card Trick about had me on the floor laughing. His Pocket Interchange (Expert Card Routines) is the only trick to go into my strolling set in years. It can be done without a table, and sleight-wise, it's extremely efficient. The amount of magic and action you get from so few sleights almost seems impossible, and that's good magic. I doubt I'll ever be able to perform it as much as I've done it just for myself at home. |

Some of his gambling material is unique and the best I have seen from other card men. Running the aces his double duke and his work on the strip out shuffles.
