The effect, Travel by Martin Adams, would go great with Passport. The laminated cards will fit in the Passport Wallet.

David is a fast shipper. I got a shipping confirmation within 24 hours (over the new years holiday) and it arrived today. Incredible quality, brilliant magic and great customer service.
Mediocrity is greatly under rated!

Not trying to steal anyone's thunder, but I thought I'd mention that the PASSPORT wallet also walks.

This looks really nice and I think you get a lot for your money!
But I´m not sure if this will work for me. Because I live in Germany and the spectator will be wondering why I use an "International Passport" and not a German Passport. Anyone purchased the International Version? Or can I find a picture of the International Passport anywhere? Thank you, |

I thought I'd ordered the International version in red bikes. What I got says 'United States of America' on the passport holder and strangely, 'Unified States of America' on the passport.
I don't know whether the 'Unified' bit is intentional or not, or maybe intended as a joke. As to handling, some care is needed to make this work without showing anything. Having done card to sealed envelope in wallet for a while now, I would say that, if you can p*** a card then its probably an easier route than performing Passport. The big advantage of Passport for me is the prospect of being able to reset on the fly and so being able to work multiple tables, plus the commercial hook in of the holiday destinations that Passport gives you. I think it will take some practice to get the Passport smooth enough to work tables but it could be worth it. |

I'm pretty sure it says "Unified" for legal reasons. Wouldn't want anyone trying to use it as an actual passport...

Yes, the word "International" on the ordering page refers to postage.
At no point in the routine is the wallet's embossing read in its entirety, nor is the cover of the fake passport read - they simply look "official." Any real, legitimate passport the same size as an American passport can be easily substituted. The fake Passport reads "Unified" as opposed to "United" not for reasons of humor, unless you find the prospect of spending twenty-five years in jail for forgery hilarious. I like palming, and I have nothing against it! The trade-off here is the use of gimmicks and combined methods to make the effect happen without palming, but maintaining equal or greater impact compared to methods utilizing palming. When I started testing the system in front of audiences it was to evaluate the ease of execution and audience reactions...but it quickly turned into some of the most fun I've ever had as a magician. Forgive me if this is some sort of sacrilege, but on top of being 100% deceptive, the method is enjoyable. As for tips on smoothness, one must fight the temptation to tighten up and "do something," and instead do nothing. Hold the wallet low, as you logically would to display its contents, and simply go through the actions as described - the props will do what needs being done. You will very quickly get used to holding the props correctly and it will not feel like you need to take great care. I didn't say this on the DVD, but the feeling I get doing Passport is one of the card never moving...just everything around the card moving. This is especially true of the simplest version, the version where the wallet is wrapped with rubber bands, and keeping this in mind may help. |

I got this a week ago and have been having nothing but fun with it. I use the rubber band version. Such an easy routine to get down too, theres really no sleight of hand involved at all. Its extremely clever and one of the cleanest effects I have seen in a while. Everything flows smoothly, angles are hardly a problem and the impact is just mind blowing. I LOVE Passport and I highly recommend it to anyone. Great Job David.

This is really well made and easy to do. David's instructions are clear as always. A good value. The name is not sexy enough, though. "Passport of Doom" would have been more in keeping with recent magic marketing trends.

@Pete: I was thinking the same, I might have to modify my Passport a little bit.
Anyone who ones "Passport" - do you think I could use my own Passport if I would modify it? thank you |

The leather embossed case is 5 1/2" x 3 7/8". The (fake) passport is 4 7/8" x 3 7/16" (that's the size of an American passport). You can substitute your own passport if you'd like, if it is approximately those dimensions.
