Here's my thought posted from another thread....
Magic is all about presentation. The suggestions you make, while really good, make a rather large "production" of one's show. It would be nice for large events, and it would be nice to have a "staff" to set up and run everything, much like a rock concert with roadies, sound and light people handling the show, thus giving the performer the opportunity to focus on presentation and interaction with those in attendance without also having to make sure all the "technical" stuff worked as planned and at the right times. I, for one, would enjoy watching a show as you're suggesting. I also think it's a bit much for the average magician on the "living room circuit," which most magicians are, to be able to pull off. Just my opinion. Let's here others! Mark. |
