Just a heads up that the cover and feature article in the January MAGIC magazine is all about David Roth, and his influence on the world of coin magic.

To cover a short tribute to David's contribution to magic, they must have done a special issue with at least 250 pages

Got my issue yesterday. Nice read. Unfortunately nothing from David in Josh Jay's "Talk About Tricks"!

The mailman must be enjoying my latest issue of MAGIC - I haven't gotten mine yet and haven't seen the finished article.

I only subscribe on Genii, so I will miss this article.
Perhaps Richard (Kaufman) will do a feature article on David Roth in an upcomming issue. Anyhows David deserves this as he has brought coinmagic to a new level.

Bill, that was a great article, it really gave the flavor of David's backround amd philosophy! Peo, Richard was going to do that article yrs ago, but the project dragged, so it ended up going to Magic. And long overdue - considering David's stature in the world of magic, that was his first cover and feature article!

It is a terrific feature! I had the pleasure of meeting David when I was just a kid, and he was as nice as could be. He deserves so much more attention. Such a brilliant thinker!

I am happy to report that I got TWO issues in the mail today and finally got to see what the articles looks like with the photos and the cover photo. Stan did a nice job. Again - Thanks for all your help. I am glad David is finally getting a little of the recognization he deserves. Bill |
