This is a young man who is speaking Tagalog as he does the trick. I'm guessing it's Tagalog anyway.
Rannie, is this guy part of your crew? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6x0YHHnLknE He's pretty good. I liked the two-tiered loading. KG |

He was speaking one of the 171 dialects mixed with some Tagalog! I could not understand the words, myself.
I'm afraid I never met or saw this guy.

Thanks for posting... I liked the way he had the elevated surface and his load modus.

I have a problem with routines where the cups are laid on their sides towards the performer.
The repeated cup tapping was also a problem for me. All in all a knowledgeable performer, but a routine that disappointed me in its design. Now, possibly, this young men is compensating such drawbacks with a great patter and my disappointment comes from my own shortcomings...

I thought the routine was interesting, but he did several things that were very obvious to me.
I enjoyed several of the vanishes, though. I didn't mind the cups being laid down mouth towards the performer. I have seen Mike Ammar do this. However, Mike places his cups out of the picture when doing this. I liked the cups and wonder if they were plastic or ceramic. Thanks for posting it, Kent. Happy New Year, Mike |
