I was wondering what kind of cone Fred Kaps used in his ball and cone routine, also if anyone can what kind of ball he used ? Here is a link to what I'm talking about.

That's probably a cardboard or plastic cone, painted with gold or silver paint. Hard to say, because the clip is in monochrome. The ball is a glass bubble.

BTW, many magicians who did cone manipulations at that time used the cones that were the center of the industrial spools of yarn.

Looking through the catalog for the Vernon-Cervon auction, I realized that Vernon's cone was leather, painted silver. Kaps could have used a similar cone.

Is that collection not AWESOME!!!! I can't believe Bruce had that much incredible stuff. One thing missing tho' is the apparatus Bruce used in his Linking Finger Ring routine.
