I put a furnace filter in the top, wondering if theres a better choice. Im happy for you and your new paint hut. Today is the first day I havent used mine since I put it together only because its cold as doo dah day here in south Georgia. I got it up to 44 deg in the shop today. At least theres no snow around here but we have to put up with mosquitoes and rattle snakes in the summer. If I still made wands I'd think about a snake skin wand but it takes a special kind of man to use one of those.

Well, I doubt you believe me but theres a blizzard in south Georgia. So far this winter theres been freezing cold, high winds, flooding rains and now snow.
The new magic builders code: Neither rain, mud, snow or flood will stop me from my appointed tasks cutting wood, polishing brass and using my paint booth. ;)

Move all the equipment into the spare bedroom... and if someone wants to sleep over just put them on the table say and say you want to try a little experiment.

Yeah, looks like we've got a couple inches already. Not sticking to the roads though. Once the temps go down this evening the roads will ice and the bumper car ride will be open for business. I heard from a friend on the Gulf Coast and he said they were expecting snow at the beach.
HEY!!! Some dog just painted my snow yellow!!

Just too cold to do anything. I think its supposed to be a little warmer tomorrow. At least somebody is getting some painting done today!!

The news said we got 4" of snow here. I did manage to get some more boxes made. Lots of sawdust from that Baltic Birch. Shower felt good! Neti Pot felt even better.

Here is the El Tab shop in the kudzu patch covered with snow. This is the good part of my shop building!!! It is purdy though, all white and everything. Really sort of a pain to deal with. Cant imagine what some of yall have been through this winter so far. Surely spring isn't far now. Ive gotta get some work done.

Yesterday, I spent part of the day making parts storage out of the stack of cardboard boxes that's been accumulating on the dirt floor next to my favorite bench. I need more bench space so I was forced to clean up. I don't want to circulate a picture of the clean and organized shop because I'm afraid it will spoil my reputation.
However you might be interested in a picture of the first few 1939 Sefalaljia Kits coming out of the small, and now organized El Tab Shop. The indoor part of the shop is really a set rather than a real shop with false walls and a fake floor built into the funky old barn with a rough dirt floor and a partially caved in section. I cant wait til Spring so I can open it up and take control of more floor space. These kits were shipped out last week and two more went out today. The paint booth with the heat lamps has made a huge difference and Ive been experimenting and have come up with a new oil mixture for lighter colored wood. These are tulip poplar and old heart pine. This is my first time with a non print manual and literature. Its all on the cd-rom; a pdf manual, pictures and three videos plus the wave file showing how to pronounce it. . .

Tabman,
Looks pretty neat. Has an old time look that I just love. What effects did you include with the set? Gimpy

The only thing I changed was the skull on top to a candlestick on top of the cabinet and I added a monogrammed ("SJ") white handkerchief for the second effect. A pdf of The Jinx #66 is available on the Sefalaljia website but its several pages in. Look for the small The Jinx icon.

40 here today, first time I have seen the grass in weeks. This cold has got to go and go for good. Too far behind to deal with anymore frozen glue, sanding pads that wont stay stuck and warping wood.
