I was once taught a great Oil and Water routine. The one thing that makes this one stick out in my mind is the cards. They are just blank face cards that have had two red dots and two blue dots placed on the face of each of the six cards. I just cannot remember the name, which of course means I can not track the instructions down in my library. Hopefully, someone on the board will be familiar with this one.
Thanks |

Not sure but the name Adagio for Dots comes up.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, but that is an 8 card Follow the Leader effect. The one I had learned is a six card Oil and Water.
Thanks for the help though. |

I think Bruce Cervon put out something like that. It had special cards with dots, I remember seeing. But I never tried it out.

Just choose any oil & water routine {Aldo Colombini"s "Nice Salad" or Oil & Water on his L&L dvds} and make the cards up yourself.
Chances are this is what you have seen. "Nice Salad" always reminds me of "Reset" |

Steve,
I've always thought that "Nice Salad" was very close to Nick Trost's "Reset" routine, so I'm glad I'm not alone. |

Royal mgic has a 2 packet tricks called "Dot`s Impossible" & "Dot`s Incredible". I believe "Dot`s Impossible" is the one you are thinking of. It uses 6 cards, 3 red dots and 3 blue dots, all ungimmicked. You can show that the spectator has picked the one supposedly odd color card everytime (using the flustration count)untill he actually misses then you can change all the other 5 cards to opposite color by using Magic and he is right again. To end show the last one opposite color he`s picked then it down, lay the other 5, supposedly all one color down by dealing left, right, left etc. untill all six cards are exhasted into 2 columns then showing that there are now 3 reds and 3 blue dots.
"dot`s incredible" uses 2 d****E F***d cards that have the ability to cause red and blue cards to jump around from one of three packs to the opposite color packet. Both are simple and fun tricks. You can get them from most dealers and would cost less than $10.00 total. I like them mainly for kids rather than playing cards, but adults will enjoy them also to see if this is their "lucky" day, which it is of course. John
Nothing is better than more.
