Sly2272: You have to be more careful where you post your comments. Asking on youtube, a layman site, Who made the base? I think is an idiotic move. First it gives layman watching the video a clue and second suppose you get an answer it will be even worse. Please be more careful next time.

Thanks,
Reynold

Check out the title of the video, why post it that way. Please refrain from using terms like idiotic, not nessessary. Makes your opinion less valuable.

Thanks

You could use the term "base" to describe "everything" the folks are standing on. This is the base, not the same in "magic speak" LOL

As far as builder, to me anyone can build it, it will be deternmined by the staging available for you.

If I'm right it's the polish magician Arsène Lupin. I recognized his Mona Lisa act at the end of the clip.
Seems that somebody put a video clip together from different TV shows of this guy.

Oliver.

Do you have seen before somethings like this? ( I mean exactly this way to use this basic priciples, of course I don't mean the classic way to use this basic principle ,wow it's difficult don't expose too much!)
it's really really well done ,
in that video this illusion look almost close to be unreal and edited, what do you think ?
yhea I know many illusions use this basic principle for somethig similar but are not well done and undetectible like this !
This performer use this principle in a new way ( for me) ,
and it look different and unseen before to my eyes,
I mistake?
it's was already done from other performers?
any videos from different performers but same principle and illusion?

or this is a new personal way from this performer to use this basic principle?

some one told me about editing and camera tricks or some possible way to perform this illusions just for the TV ,
but I don't belive it too much....

Can be this a variation whit a totally different way to use the principle and whit a different final technique of "KELLAR'S QUEEN OF FLOWER",
not exactly the same but close whit a twist on the principle,
you idea on it?

Doug Henning when he toured did his Mousetrap Illusion on a large base. It was not EXACTLY the same design as above, but the basic principle/idea was.

I don't believe so, but you could really search for it and then may be lucky. He would not have used it on t.v., but may have used it in some of his Vegas shows. Back when he was on tour there was very little audience filming (bootleg filming) of shows.
