So I like to make lists. And I was thinking to myself the other day:
"Portal made me cry... I wonder what would be the PERFECT evening of grand magic?" Whats your 'illusion list' and order for a show? Unlimited budget, perfect lighting conditions, everything possible... what would you perform? And why? My illusion order: - One (because its a good magician fooler) - Audience Lottery Prediction (part one) - Crazy Mans Handcuffs + Misled - After Hours - Death Saw (using a combonation of Peter Marvey and Kevin James methods to make the table ULTRA-thin) = Interval - Test Conditions (raised on stilts for re-entrance) - Portal (part one) - Walking through a wall of Steel - Grandpa Aces (if you haven't worked out by now, I'm a Copperfield fan) - Thirteen - Moon Rise - Flying (Peter Marvey method, out over the audience and inside rotating glass box) - Audience Lottery Prediction (Part two) - Portal (Part Two, Finale) Ok, as you can see I'm a Copperfield fanboy, but what would you do if you could? I think it would be interesting to see. And what do you think of my choices? :) Tom xx
I come from the future to culture you poor sods with fire.

Wow, you are a Copperfield fan! Although I do love seeing "One," my favorite DC appearance of all time is "Heaven on the Seventh Floor"(elevator.) The whole performance of it gives me the shivers.

I love Copperfield's stuff as well. Especially the routine he did with the romance in the bistro with dancing hanks. Because the Sigfried and Roy show was always in the same place I thought their stuff looked so solid. It always seems easier to make large stuff look perfect when you can do it in the same theater for years. Touring shows have it much harder to get the whole show looking right. It amazes me that Copperfield's crew did the setup as strong as they did. I saw him in lots of theaters and it was almost always perfect.
