Among the quality gaff craftsmen, Joe Mogar, the penknives wizard, has been stepping in and, we can only admit, in a nice way:

Magical Morgan Dollars... These Special made coins are ferromagnetic and are attracted to a magnet. These are perfect for PK effects and can be used in all the routines using Morgan Dollars. Once you use these coins, you will love them and purchase more. You can't see any difference between these coins and the normal non-magnetic Morgans. Price $10.00 ea.
These coins are sweet, look fantastic! At a recent convention, Tony Clark had borrowed one from an audience member and even commented when told what it really was that it was very nice. |

I have ordered a good deal of coin items from Joe the past few months. The quality of the coins and gaffs is excellent, service is fantastic and the price is very competitive. He has been very helpful in determining selection and even application. I have no connection, just a very satisfied customer.

I too have spent a lot of "coin" on coins with Joe since last November and couldn't be happier. However, Joe doesn't make coin gaffs. He is just a dealer of them.
Now can we PLEASE close this thread and keep it all under wraps for a little bit before he drives up prices??? |

I chanced a look at one of the Mogar Magical Morgans over the weekend, and I was very impressed. They are very, very close to the real thing, and will certainly pass as such with the general public. They ring clear, and although they don't quite sound like silver, they certainly don't sound "phoney" or hollow.
The fact that they're attracted to a magnet makes cleanups a breeze, which is a definite advantage if you perform in an environment where you're not always wearing a jacket. I can't speak for the more complicated gaffs, because I haven't seen them, but the coins themselves are very tempting. Kudos, Joe.

I believe it is generally Kreis Company: http://www.kreis-magic.com/
But, I far prefer to deal with Joe due to the difference in language, timezone and currency. Plus, his customer service and prices are excellent. |

Ruldar is correct. Kreis supplies the gaffs, but Joe also sells Johnson and Tango gaffs depending on what you're buying. Be sure to check with him. Joe keeps a good stock, but has also mentioned that orders come slow from Kreis too if he's out of something.

Thanks! I know that I have read comments and reviews on just about all the gaff makers that we are all familiar with, but I haven't heard of Kreis before this. Joe Mogar's three and four coin nested ['s aren't overly expensive but then they aren't inexpensive either. I figure it is wise to at least get an idea of the quality of the gaffs. However not having heard of Kreis's gaffs before I guess I'm no wiser than before.
