Do you think that the white peas are easier to see from the audience's point of view than the green peas? I use a darker blue close up mat, so I'm thinking of buying these. I have the green perfect peas and use them all of the time, but I'm thinking the white might pop more and be easier to see for my audience. Is anybody using these?
On the other hand, do you think that they'll view it as more of a trick than a con because you're not using the green "pea"? |

I have the white peas and can say that they are great. especialy when the lights are dim then the green ones are badly seen. you can see the white ones even with a candle flame.
people see this as a con - magicians see it as a trick. do you think if people see you do this with matchboxes or the golden shells they thhink is a magic trick? present it as a con game and that it will be. I love the white peas |

I just received my white peas. They are FANTASTIC. I lowered the lights in my house and took a picture of my mat with the shells, the green pea, and the white pea from further away. The white pea is very visible while the green pea is VERY difficult to see from futher away.
The only difference between the two peas is that the white peas seem to be a little harder, or less compressable than the green peas are. This could be because I've been using the same green peas for over 5 years though. Overall, I recommend these beauties to anybody. My reasoning behind purchasing the white peas was that I wanted a highly visible pea even from far away. The audience will never see the steals due to the nature of the game. There are some times when I NEED the pea to be seen, such as the roll flash, or other sucker moves and I wanted it to POP when I needed it to POP. These peas are outstanding. |
