I absolutely abhor the old "winkie blinkie" buttons that magicians used to wear though I still see a few. But I highly recommend Bob Solari's Fan-See Card Rise. It's a lapel pin of a small fan of cards and a card rises from it. It doesn't sound like much but the reaction has been unbelieveable. Though I would suggest using it as a tie clip or tie pin. Bob makes these by hand and from what I have read, it's a limited run. This is fantastic..and you can change the card that rises so if you are working tables, you can switch the revelation. My only construction comment would be if Bob makes a version 2, have the cards in a tight arc fan. For only $29.95, this is something all ages would enjoy seeing.

Looks like a cute trick for the walk around magician. I also agree that a tight arc fan might look better. Thanks for the link.

It's one of those tricks that is ""universal"..meaning, it is understood by sight alone. I performed for a group of deaf high schoolers and after a card was chosen and it rose from my lapel..the reactions were priceless. That's why I do "magic".

Does the card "Visually" rise. Or has it already risen when the spectator looks back at the pin?

Rich, you can have the card rise right in front of them..it's amazing. I'm still in shock that this simple piece of magic had that reaction .

It's great when they say do it again for my friend and you can with a different card. It's very easy to reset it. Another winner for Bob.
