I live in England. When I wanted some doller bills Iwent in a travel agents. They only made a small charge. They can sometimes give you small amounts over the counter.

My very good contact at Thomas Cook travel agency here in the UK has let me sit down and browse their Foreign Currency reference cataolgue, so I'm confident that I can pass the following onto you;
US $1 bills - 156mm x 65mm suitable to use with; Trinidad $1 - 156mm x 66mm Mexico 100Peso - 155mm x 66mm Honduras $1 - 156mm x 67mm Bahamas 50c/$1 - 156mmx 67mm Argentina $2 - 155mm x 65mm Caymen $1/$2 - 156mm x 66mm (this is the one I chose, as it's blue, has our Queen on and lends itself to patter about holidays) And - why we didn't think of this before I don't know - for the UK £5 note at 135mm x 70mm; Scottish £5 - 135mm x 70mm Irish £5 - 135mm x 70mm And yes, I know I'm a sad, sad man... |
