On youtube at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPw1pjrIe......be_gdata you will see the opening and closing credits from "The Avengers" starring Patrick McNee and Linda Thorson. Around 57 seconds into the clip the closing credits begin with some nicely done card flourishes using the Harry Stanley/Unique Studios fanning deck that came out in the 60's. Back in the days of the Electronic Grymoire I posted an inquiry as to whose hands are seen in the closing credits, but memory fails me as to what answers I got to that question. My first thought would be Lewis Ganson's hands or maybe Johnny Hart's. Perhaps one of our British subscribers can identify the performer. ----- Amado "Sonny" Narvaez

I believe they were the hands of Michael Bailey.

Thanks, Brian, for the information. An email from John Styles also confirmed that the hands are John Wade's. There is also information on John Wade's website at
http://john-wade.org/ The information on the website also notes: "John is a member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star, and an Honorary Life member of the Academy of Magical Arts and Sciences at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California." ----- Amado "Sonny" Narvaez

Brian is correct. John Wade. John tells the story in a nice book he wrote many years ago, entitled "The Trade of the Tricks".

Thanks Mr S. - I knew Michael Bailey didn't sound right when I read it back. The advancing years are taking their toll. My apologies, Amado.
See you at Fleetwood? Dave
