I have been going back and forth on referrals.

While me head tells me to promote and advertise a rewards-based referral system, my heart tells me that a nice, personal "Thank You for the referral" with a small gift, perhaps flowers or a gift card to Starbucks, for example, might go a lot further.

Of course, one is proactive, and the other is responsive, but still ... I am sitting firmly atop the fencepost on this.
