I saw Shooting A Ribbon Through A Girl by Arturo sold on Hocus-Pocus.
Does anyone make reviews? Thanks. |

If you are familiar with the old P&L version of the trick, the Arturo is just kind of a "poor man's" version. The effect is the same, the Arturo method just a little less mechanical and more simplified. I love the way the effect looks, but I also think it is almost too preposterous for an audience to believe. I don't know if there's any youtube of the effect, but if you want to see it in a nutshell, watch the old Houdini movie with Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. They do it, very quickly, in that movie, using the P&L method.

Still available from Abbott's Magic, if they can be encouraged to make it. It is in their PDF catalog on page 201. Listed at $950 plus postage. The price I am sure will have increased do to new cost of materials.

I believe the one being sold is the same one I sold a while back, but can't remember to whom I sold it. Very good condition if it is and quite workable.

I think if the target does not need another assitant, that would be good.

You do not need another assistant.
