Hi Guys!
Let me show you my newest effect. Have a spectator to think any playing card. Now you are able to reveal their freely thought of card in seconds. Poker Face comes with four routines, ideas and all the necessary gimmicks that you need to perform this miracle. You can turn this into a prediction effect and you'll be able to predict their freely thought of card! You can always carry it with you! Keypoints to remember: - very easy to perform - 100% accurate every time - NO sleight of hand required - instantly repeatable with different outcome - completely examinable - no anagrams - no memorization - no psychological force - no contact reading - the spectator doesn't have to write down anything - you can use it over and over again "Martin has taken an age old principle and finessed it into a modern and slick effect. Perfect to carry in your wallet." - Ben Harris (Crossroads, Enlightenment) Available at: http://theforgottenart.com/pokerface.cfm All the best for all of you, Martin |

Always love the magic ads
They tell what it isn't, not what it is. btw, its not too hard to figure out what is this with a little prior knowledge, and it could be very baffling ( is this a word? ) to the spec. (if I am right about the method) |

So, it is a PDF download, WITH gimmicks? The gimmicks must be pages of different cards or such and you ask the spec if their card is on this one, or on that one, etc. . . .
It would really be quite tragic
if the world had to do without magic! |

You need gimmicks for this effect that you receive with the PDF and making the gimmicks cost you about 2 USD. Once you made them it will last forever that's for sure. My advertise is absolutely correct. Dear p_n_g, I absolutely agree with your comment I just wanted to make sure to my customers see it's not only an effect that sounds good when they read the instructions. It is unacceptable for me that my customers realize what they received is something different that the advertise says. This effect is surefire, ready to go always and instantly repeatable. The performer always know the thought of card without any chance of failure. I think this is the cheapest "thought of card" type of routine on the market now. It is always ready to go and always works! All the best, Martin |

I don't think it's asking too much for a description of the entire effect as the
spectator experiences it. |

Hi Martin ,
If the old method is the one I am thinking of , was a version of this effect not include in those large magic box sets for children ?? The key with this old principle is the premise for using what is used , I have only ever seen it used twice in other effects where it is fully justified and hidden from view completly and does not come across as a puzzle. WHy not write the Ad as to what the layman actually sees and then customers can make a more informed opinion . Andy |

I don't have the slightest idea what this trick is about. A thought-of card is revealed by the magician. I only know about 100 tricks that achieve that. Maybe I'd buy this one, but I really would like to know what it is.

If this is using cards that spectator's look at to see if the value is there, then this has already been done. Dan Harlen has an excellent version, Fun INC put out a version of this. Don't forget Steinmeyer's World's Thinnest Deck.
Martin, please tell us, if you have to show the participant several cards and ask if he sees his value or suit. If this is the case, there are already HUNDREDS of versions of this in print. I am hoping you have something new. Devin |

Hi Guys!
Thank you very much for all of your questions. Here are the answers. The Basic Effect: The performer start to talk about how the Poker mania go through the world these days. Millions play poker we can see it on TV throught the internet, almost everywhere. While the performer talk about the popularity of this card game he remove six laminated pictures from his wallet. The performer ask the spectator to think any playing card at all it can be his favourite playing or the playing card that he thinks his lucky card etc.. On every laminated card there are a picture of the end of a poker game. The spectator is asked to look through the pictures and separate the pictures where he find his lucky though of card. The spectator does. At the end of the separation the performer able to reveal/predict the spectators freely thought of card. This is how the basic routine look like. In the Poker Face eBook you will find the basic routine, 2 routines that use playing cards and turn the effect into a prediction type of effect, a thought of card in pocket and a thought of card in wallet routines, plus additional ideas for the basic concept. No matter how the spectator place the pictures, face up or face down you always know the information that you need to know. The effect looks exactly like this. I hope every one of you found his answer between these lines. If you have any question don't hesitate to ask. Best, Martin |
