Hey Mark
as Alan said you could cut the key if you want but I never bothered. I have never had anyone question that the key isn't cut, it's not an issue. But you could cut the key. Regarding other keys it's best to contact World Magic Shop at http://www.worldmagicshop.com and ask them. They might be able to do a custom job for you. Thanks again for all your support. The amount of emails I have had have been overwhelming. Craig |

Well done on producing a MONSTER close-up effect.
I saw you dem this in Blackpool. It's knockout. The way you manipulated the hole was magnificent. I was shocked when you pulled it off in front of my eyes. I was even more amazed when you slid the hole down the shaft. You handed me your piece to examine and although I thoroughly examined both the head and shaft I could find nothing untoward. I will be pulling this out to perform at every opportunity. Nice one Craig. |

Craig, or anyone else. Can you point me in the direction of where you got your key fob from please? A Google search reveals a bewildering array of key fobs but its not easy to find one that looks as easy to detach a key from as the one you show on the DVD. Thanks Martin.

Thanks for the great post Andi and you are correct the keyfob I use came with Greg Wilson's effect Freakey (which is another excellent effect with keys by the way). Having said this I have found these fobs in other places including on a market stall the other day.
To be honest though Martin any keyfob that opens fairly easily will work. My friend Russell Leeds went into a keycutters and ased to look at all their easy to open keyfobs. He found one that is just as good as the open I use in seconds. The only problem is it says 'Walsall Football Club' on it which could seriously damage your street cred!!! I know that my friend Alan Rorrison has a VERY creative solution to using a key fob which I am sure he will tell everyone when he notices the thread. Anyone I hope this answers your question. Craig |

is what I use and they open easily. Now I do not advocate stealing so for the kids in the uk. Go in to your local Tesco and you will see they have signs that hang off the side of the shelf's... The are hung there with these very hoops. Im sure IF YOU ASK NICELY they will let you have one or two as my local tescos did with me. These ar alos wide enough to carry ALL the keys( if you know what I mean) so you have nothing loose when your storing them! |

I've ordered one of these:
http://www.withlovefrom.com/sessionID/JI......g-WKR01/ I'm hoping it doesn't say 'Walsall Football Club' on it cause I asked them to engrave it with my name on it. |

Alan, those are what I use for my ungimmick Ring Flite. If you are in the States, you can buy a box of maybe 50 of them for about $2 at Staples or Office Depot or any other office supply store. They are very cheap and very easy to open. Great for any routine with keys where you need to get them on and off easily.

Thanks Cameron and Alan, those key fobs look like they will work perfectly. Also the one you have ordered Martin looks great as well (although I would be tempted to engrave it with a card force but that's just me!
Glen, I have no idea why the site is down you are not the only person to bring this to my attention. I know the website has just been redesigned and it could be because of this. I will check with Jim Trainer and get back to you as soon as possible but I am guessing it won't be down for long at all. Thanks again Craig |

I will say this is a great trick. A very practical routine that deserves a much higher price tag.
For reference, the keys are left uncut, so that you can actually go into a key-cutter and get them cut to match your own house keys. This makes them practical as well as being a magic trick! While there are similarities with other effects, I believe this trick is different enough to warrant its own release, and I don't believe anyone truly has the right to claim any prop with a moving hole as there's alone to work with. Its an idea and cannot be credited to other people just because of a few similarities. Having said that, this is a much more practical and in-depth routine and is a real winner in my books. Steve P.S: It also does everything it says on the cover. |

I had a clear out of my magic box of junk / not in use stuff, and found 'Keyvolution' (I think that's what it was called) by Mark Leveridge. The effect is where a blank key cuts itself to match another key.. Ah, here we go: http://www.markleveridge.co.uk/shopbask/products/kv.html This could be a nice segue / killer response should the 'uncut' question arise. Now I just have to wait for Keymaster to arrive.. Charlie |

Thanks for the kind words Stephen, glad you are enjoying the effect.
I actually remember Keyvolution, its a great effect and would work quite well alongside Keymaster. Charlie, you will have to let me know what you think of Keymaster when you get the effect and let me know if you have figured out a way of combining the effects. Anyway, I really appreciate all the emails and pm's I have been having as well as everything that has been said on this thread. If anyone has any other comments or questions just let me know Craig |

I still cannot purchase this. With only one shop carrying this and that shop offline for days it is off the market to me. Unless you have someone else who sells it.
