How many of you look at the banners?
Do you look each time you log in? Do you look at the big banners more than the little ones? Whose had their banner on the longest? Cory

Banners? I thought the banners were in the back ground banning people.

I look at the banners that I'm interested in. They register with me as I glance at them. If they are topical to me, I'll click. Big or small doesn't make a difference to me. If I can read them at a glance, THAT MATTERS.
Interesting question. What's your purpose?
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |

I don't see them. Firefox plus adblock. MC is a page of green & black for me. I still get my pms from Steve Brooks though
I see almost no advertising on the web - pages load quicker and it's good for bandwidth. For work sometimes I use IE to see what a website really looks like.

I just added Firefox ad block so I don't have to look at the annoying things. If I want to look at ads I will go search them out myself I don't need them put in My face for me.

Just like The Linking Ring, Magic Magazine, Genii and M-U-M - without the advertisers, there would likely be no Magic Café. I browse the banners and occasionally buy when something catches my eye. Seems to me that we should respect the guys & gals who pay for our privilege of gathering here.
Just my two cents...

I check them out, can't say "all of them" but out of curiosity and as a courtesy for those sponsoring.

I may not read those silly banners, but there are 12 tricks in my tipical magic show, and all but two of them I heard about here at the magic Café. This is a tremendous resorce, and if you SHOP CAREFULLY you will wind up with only the best magic.

If the search worked twice in a row I might click one.
