I'm guessing it involves the words 'Gordon' and 'Paul'!

Hi Charlie,

It wouldn't surprise me, either. Paul's stand was 5-deep most times! I've never seen reactions like it. His magic dems were friggin' hot! I know he sold out of everything by Sunday lunchtime...

I suspect from some of Andi's other posts that he's a bit of a PG fan..!
I picked up Card Startlers a while ago and there sure are some great FASDIU items on there, coupled with strong performances(although I'm not a fan of spelling effects, of which there were several). Money well spent.
Best,
Charlie

Hi Charlie,

I'm a huge Paul Gordon fan, too...but - I hasten to add - not a psycho superfan! Yeah, good you like Card Startlers too. Good magic!

OK guys, I'll let the cat out of the bag.

My best purchase was Mark Leveridge's A Simple Guide To Creativity.

I've often wondered how Mark Leveridge became such a prominent magical creative force in the UK (and recently in America through his L&L DVD set). This booklet reveals the real secrets of how Mark comes up with amazing effects year after year after year e.g. The Shiner.

This isn't an effect. It's an approach to thinking about magic that deserves a place on the same bookshelf as Strong Magic, Designing Miracles, Beyond Secrets, Find The Stuff That's You and Maximum Entertainment.

Here's a link. http://www.markleveridge.co.uk/shopbask/......gtc.html

Click it and prepare to unleash your creative potential.

The best purchase for me was free! It was Yigal Mesika's masterclass!
True magic from a great performer and a great guy.
