But if they don't know the answer to the riddle ... one may worry about them being just secret seekers rather than knowledgeable performers.

Also, perhaps some people don't speak English very well. If they are an English speaking mentalist, they will know the answer to the riddle.

Can I assume this effect will not work on my TV if my HD TV "box" is set so that it turns to a specific channel on boot?
